We believe it is everyone's rights to have full control over their personal information. Garçon will promptly delete any customer information from its records when explicitly requested wherever possible (newsletter list, social media).
However, the need to adhere to Canadian legal compliances does not allow us to remove order history and fraud related information from our records, e.g. Keeping financial data for 7 years or supporting legal claims.

- While browsing: We use Google Analytics & Live Chat to vizualize your IP address, local time, pages visited, time spent on our website, OS and browser edition, whether you are a new or returning visitor. This helps us improve our website usability, service offerings and to provide a personalized customer service experience.
- When placing an order: We collect only the information needed to process your order such as your first/last name, IP address (for fraud detection), email address (for order and shipping confirmation or to contact you in case of a problem with your order), billing/shipping address, phone number (for the courrier companies to reach you in case of an attempted delivery) and your method of payment.

- When subscribing to the 'Notify Me' inventory alert: When you leave your email in the 'Notify Me' popup in order to be notified when an item is being back in stock. We add your email to our Mailchimp subscriber list and notify you by way of our newsletter.
- When interacting on Social Media: We may repost, comment, nominate you for contests when you purposely mention or tag @garconmodel on social media using hashtag #garconmodel and/or direct messaging (DM). We also may share your picture in the context of our Selfie Contest with our newsletter subscribers and on our Pinterest wall to notify you of a win.
