Get ready to see Bruno strutting his stuff in the Miramar briefs on Episode 8 of season 15 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🏁
In episode 8 of RuPaul's Drag Race season 15, the queens were presented with a LipSync Lalaparuza Smackdown challenge where each queen performed a lip sync on the Main Stage and after eight head-to-heads, one queen is eliminated.
The queens were picked at random and chose who they wanted to go head-to-head against in a lip sync. When a queen was declared the winner of her lip sync, she was marked safe and could watch the rest of the battles from the Werk Room. Those who weren't winning competed in additional lip syncs, eventually resulting in a bottom two where one of them was asked to sashay away.
The first ball chosen was Malaysia Babydoll Foxx. Her selection meant she got to choose her opponent, and though it was in the air that everyone wanted to see her go against Mistress she decided to choose Marcia instead.
As the selected opponent, Marcia got to choose the song and she picked “Boys Don’t Cry” by Anitta. Despite being perceived as one of the weaker performers, Marcia surprised everyone by her flips and overall agility on the stage. She easily defeated Malaysia who gave a more contained performance and was picked by Ru as the first winner.
Mistress is upset with the other girls for not thinking she should have won her round. She argues that she was chosen first because no one wants to compete against her.
The episode ended with a three-part twist that left viewers surprised.
Twist the First: Ru informed the final three queens — Anetra, Jax and Spice — that only two of them would be lip syncing for their lives.
Twist the Second: When Bruno chose Anetra’s ball, it granted her the power to save one of the other queens from having to lip sync.
Twist the Third: Rather than saving Jax and battling Spice, Anetra chose to save Spice and take on Jax!... Going up against Anetra was basically the worst possible outcome for Jax, though she did give her all in this battle set to CeCe Peniston’s “Finally.” Based on this lip sync, Ru was right to send Jax sashaying away.
The episode also features a lip sync battle between 2 fan favorites, Anetra and Sasha Colby.
All in all, it was a fun episode full of twists and great performances... And not to forget fans favorite pit crew member, Bruno looking incredible in his black and gold Garçon briefs!
